About Sand Key Park

Clearwater Beach, Florida

The beach at Sand Key Park is open to the public for day use. It’s a barrier island, separated from Clearwater Beach by the Clearwater Pass, and occupies 95 acres of the northern end of Sand Key. The park offers two picnic shelters, a playground, restroom facilities and a dog park. Grills, picnic tables and water fountains are also available.

Beach weddings and parties

Sand Key’s wide, expansive beach is the perfect setting for a beach wedding, vow renewal, reception or party. The Bon Appetit Group, in business for 45 years in the Clearwater area, operates restaurants and beach concessions and is the only licensed caterer for Sand Key. We are permitted to keep the beach open for your party after the park closes so you can enjoy a private event. We will handle all aspects of your event and provide complete party, wedding planning and ceremony services.
